American Red Wine

Bright, ripe, rich red wine. The Super Cascadian is a nod to the traditional art of wine-blending. Composed of Petit Verdot from the Columbia Valley and Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley, this wine combines the best from both the east and west of the Cascade Mountain range. Drink it soon, with friends, near a campfire, and hopefully a view of the mountains, celebrating the best of the Pacific Northwest.

Sometimes you need a wine that has acidity with a bit more concentration and structure; a wine that might land in between the elegance of Pinot Noir and richness of new-world-style Bordeaux varietals. This was the intent with the Super Cascadian, to blend a balanced red wine with the brightness and aromatic high tones of Pinot Noir coupled with the structure and body of Petit Verdot. The varietal composition of this wine may change over the years as we want to give ourselves the opportunity to continue to express the art of blending. However, the goal will always be the same, a balanced cuvée that lends itself to many pairing options.
