A bold interpretation of Cabernet Franc. We let this fruit hang in the vineyard to achieve optimal ripeness. Fermented in small lots and aged in only neutral French-oak barrels, this wine really expresses the characteristics of the windy conditions and silt loam soils of  the Horse Heaven Hills. Aromas are of blackberry, sugar plum, and the characteristic celery seed, lavender, and spice. The palate is consistent with the aromas and is ideal for pairing with your favorite earthy, mushroom-based dish. 54 cases produced.
